Bass Fishing Reel Ratio
Why is my fishing reel messing up?
Ok, so i was fighting a monster bass on some fishing line that was like 6lb test for a 10lb bass the line was holding up quite well, but when i quit reeling to pull the rod to bring him closer, the reel started to spin the opposite way, at first i thought i clicked the button to cast, but that was not it. so why is my reel doing that? please help
also it is a Shakespeare alpha 310 gear ratio 5:1:1
sounds like your drag is broken,must of burned up the gears reeling in that monster
