Best Fishing Reel Under 100
Looking for the right rod?
I fish ponds and small lakes.I started fishing last year.I fish for bass,carp and channel catfish in the Chicago area.I’m looking for a 6′ 6″ rod from Cabelas.Something under $100 that should last me a long while.Your best suggestions and why?
My reel is a Shimano Sahara reel with 8lb. test.
I’m looking to see if it’s worth it to change out my 6ft. Ugly Stik combo I got at Walmart.Your thoughts?
good idea. buy one of cabela’s own brands and spend as much as you can afford. better quality and you want the best you can get. a more expensive rod will be more sensitive and have better components than the cheaper models. you usually get more for your dollar when you purchase cabela’s brands rather than a comparable rod of other manufacture of the same money.
