im new to carp fishing and i need help big time,where i what to go fishing ive walk round and looked at how there doing it. from what i can see there use like a big wait (not as big as sea fishing) this is Straight onto the main line and then small shots to stop it from moving to far up or down the line,im i right with this or is there better way i need help on how to set the these up and the names of the things i need to when i go into a tackle shop i don’t look silly.
maybe if you know any sites with diagrams of how to set them up.
i relay want to learn but like i said need help big time.

I didn’t know anyone actually tried to catch carp, up here they’re just an annoyance. I’ve caught more than one on a bare hook, they’re fairly easy. No fight in them, feels like you’re pulling in a clump of weeds.
