I fish for carp, catfish and occasionally bass with that combo.
For spinning i mostly fish for bass
Out of my fly rod collection, it was originally my sage z-axsis in a 9wt which i built myself with full fuji fittings and premium grade cork. I built it specifically for salmon and steelhead, and i guess its my favorite since its landed me the most fish!
Now however there is a competitor its my new Orvis Helios 6wt, it along with my Lamson Water Works is the lightest setup in my collection for that line rating. I also have a helios in a 3wt with an orvis battenkill and after a long day wading on the river, due to its lightness you still feel like you could keep on fishing.
