Dual monitor problem…any clues?????
Hello all. I have an Asus v9520 graphic card that works perfectly…accept when I use dual dvi monitors. the main monitor starts to flicker when i drag something onto the secondary monitor. This doesnt happen when i use one dvi and one vga monitor. I’ve tried all the common things like driver/software upgrades etc. any suggestions as to what maybe causing this??? also- it has worked fine before, its been months since it happened last but now its happening a lot.
Right now I am using a converter- the card has dual dvi inputs…my second monitor has both digital and anaolg outputs…when i use an the analog output with a converter everything works great. when i use both dvi connections, the main monitor flickers.
Well your card looks like it supports it. When I was using Ultramon dual monitior software, I had to shut off the Nvidia Manager software that came with my 7600GS video card. I turned it on one time and my screens went crazy. If you dont have 2 conflicting dual monitor software programs I think it might be your adapters or actual damage to the dvi’s on your PC. There also might be a setting in your video card software where you have to choose DVI/VGA or DVI/DVI.
