Fishing Line Knots Hook

howcome when I tied a fishing line I fell on my crankbait?

just bought a crank-bait the other day and was fishing in a Me lil pond near the beginning I was the first good action and hard bite. so i cast again and it failed. i usually tie the knot fisherman cuz that all i know how to bind, because that is what I use for my hook and seemed itd work for my crank bait let me know if this is OK or whether there is another simple knot Please provide me with directions

The node was apparently not well bonded. These are good knot to use because they are tied good and tight. Palomar knot … Trilene knot … Improved clinch knot … Rapala knot … My two favorites are the improved clinch knot and palomar.
