Fishing Reel Line Knots
cant figure out fishing line on the reel right?
every time i try i screw it up badly either knots or tangles up i need help badly i really want to learn
yes it is a new reel spinning i have read up on google and watch video on youtube to help me out…..i have tried facing reel down over spool and reeling counterclockwise with the spool the 1st time i castewd it out i had a tangle so i got the tangle out reeled in recasted and it went everywhere i got fed up i want to learn to fish
Uh oh there’s 2 Tbones in the fishing section! I thought you were Tbone not T-Bone at first and was wordering if you forgot how to fish. Since you probally don’t have a clue who Tbone is or what I’m talking about I’ll get back to the question. I’m assuming you are using a spinning reel, and a light line. If so your line is probally getting twisted and tangled up because A. you put the line on wrong B. you aren’t flipping the bail with your hand. Email me or answer me by adding additional details and tell me what kind of reel you’re using and all that good stuff.
Ok start off by placing the spool on the ground (label up.) run the line through a rod eye and tie it to your reel. Reel a couple turns and the let some slack in it. If it wants to twist up, turn the spool of line over and fill up the reel.
Next after you cast instead of turning the handle to flip the bail closed, close it with your hand. Also make sure your bait or lure isn’t spinning in the water when you retrieve it.
