I would hand it over to the police, if someone lost the money and could prove it you may get a reward, if its drug money they are not likely to try and claim it, or if its been stolen from a bank, they often give rewards to those who are honest enough to hand it in, either way my conscience wouldn’t allow me to keep the money unless there was nobody who came forward, then the police hand it back to you if its been unclaimed for 3 months
