What's a good spinning reel for under $ 100?

It's about that time to replace my 12 year old reel. I am looking to do some lake trout fishing and just need something good for 6-8 pound test. Looking for something reliable with smooth casting and something that will last a while (given that I take care of it). I've been looking at some Shimano (Sahara, symmetrical, etc.) and various quantum. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I notice that the reels you are all spinning reels Mentioned and I have no experience with them. But I can tell you this-in bait casting reels of the world I find the Shimano to be at the head of the class. If I bought a spinning reel, so it would be a Shimano. They make a great product.
