where can i find a sponsor to mass produce the fishing alarm i made?
it’s actually an alarm i developed from various components that sets off a flashing red light and emits 6 different kinds of sound(e.g. ambulance, firetruck, police, etc) once a fish strikes. the alarm is attached to the rod by a clip then the fishing line is inserted into a copper switch which is released when a fish strikes. it’s rather small and compact and the sound can be heard from as far as half a block away. i’ve used this successfully for about 3 years and is specuially handy when i’m using more than one rod.
if you are serious about marketing your product successfully and making a living off of it, take serious steps to protect yourself, your product and your company. It will take several years and some investments on your part but find yourself a reputable patent attorney to represent you and your product. Go through the steps to patent your product before talking contracts w/ any manufacturers or showing your product to any potential idea thieves. But be ready for this to take some time as the patent process can go back and forth on paperwork numerous times. Stray from patent companies that you see on TV and internet.
