Now atheists are saying that they don’t believed God because of logic.
Well if logic told you that no God can’t exist then surely it can help you solve this problem.
Atheists, use logic to solve EVERY, SINGLE problem that has affected humanity and the world. Let me know when you are finished.
My Point is: You can’t use logic on everything, especially on proving or disproving if a spiritual being that had created us exists or not. That is like using a shovel to fish with. That is the wrong tool for the job. If you are going to tell me that God doesn’t exist will at least tell me what you believed, not what you “know.” Because none of us know jack from anything. Not the past, not the present, not the future. We, human beings are flawed. And thus you can’t use logic to solve us unless you want to kill us all which I doubt you would want to do.
So why use logic to ’solve’ the existence of a powerful being if it can’t solve us?
Atheists are capable of being thinking illogically, and if that weren’t the case then we wouldn’t have a world full of science fiction, phobia and imagination. We are ALL capable of imagining things beyond the constraints of the physical evidence that we can hold and touch. That is not to say that all concepts will sit well in our minds, and for some people religion is one of those concepts.
Faith is faith, it is belief based on conviction. Logic is not necessary for faith, but it CAN be applied to faith. The world follows a logic, it follows a formula, a pattern. There is a design, maybe one of god, maybe one of chance. In order to understand the root of things you must analyse the flow of things. Logic is one step in that, and perhaps logical thinking takes you closer to god rather than far away. If this world was designed by god then in understanding its design we can hope to understand his mind perhaps, or at least to a tiny extent.
I’m not religious, but logic is no afront or barrier to religion. Your rant is flawed, as most rants seem to be. I’m sure even my thinking in this answer can be shown to be flawed. But that is the beauty of debate, you get to expand your mind. I’m always happy to hear well thought out arguments.
