Fight Against Age Related Cognitive Decline With Omega 3 Fish Oil Supplements

Age related memory loss can make life one long serious of frustrations. Forgetting appointments, birthdays and even losing track of what one is doing during a simple task. The dietary fats needed are referred to as fatty acids and the most important of these is Omega 3 fatty acid.

The sources of Omega 3 fatty acids in our diets include nuts such as walnuts, oils such as olive oil and cold water fish which are high in Omega 3 fats These cold water fish include herring, salmon, sardines and mackerel. Fish caught in the wild contain higher quantities of Omega 3 fish oil because of the natural algae’s they consume. This as against farm raised fish who are raised on pellets.

To ensure that we get sufficient quantities of Omega 3 fats in our diet it is recommended that dietary supplements containing these fish oils be taken to supplement the essential fatty acids contained in our regular diet.
