Rebel Fishing Lure – Keeping The Traditions Alive!
In an anglers tackle box there are equipments that are very important and it is a must to have them. Rebel fishing lures is one kind. It was founded by George Perrin at Fort Smith Arkansas, 1961. This company dealing with plastic mold injection started making minnow like small plastic lure which would imitate the action of the fish which is in the water. Even though it dint have a good start, the minnows were in high demand after a point of time. Perrin set aside a part his production to make different sizes of minnow lures. Rebel, the name came from a school soccer team in Fort Hood which is still known as rebels.
The modern style of rebel fishing includes a different technique and not the same old minnow style. These fishing lures now include crank baits, top water lures and poppers, saltwater lures, crawfish, bug lures and frogs. The popular Wee – R series that are thick and heavy bodied lures could be used in fishing in deep water to track the trophy sized bass. Nowadays rebel fishing lures could be used from the rebel built bass boat, few which have been really effective in tournaments of bass fishing in the US.

Every angler has their favorite Rebel fishing lure line with any kind of tackle. Here are few strategies and tips on how to use Rebel fishing lures when fishing in any kind of water:
During spring it is indeed important to note that the big bass would be surface feeding and jumping minnow which is one of the premieres of Rebel fishing lure provides the top water action which would attract the bass. By using other top water retrieval or walk the dog method along the top of vegetation cover and lines, the huge bass would run literally to the surface soon after jumping minnow. Do try to cast 25 feet beyond the region where you witness the rising of bass up to the bait and later draw the minnow across that surface. This natural action of the lure and the retrieval would imitate the action of an injured shad which would bring about an aggressive feeding bass to this surface.
One of the finest Rebel fishing lures that is available for trolling of salmon is found in the Fasrtracs series.
