Mitchell Fishing Reel And Rod Combo

my dad got me a mitchell pesca fishing rod and reel combo?

is it any good? are they good poles?

In all honesty Mitchell doesn’t have a very reputable name when it comes to most people. I don’t have much experience with them myself but I do have a Mitchell ultralight reel that has served me very well through the years. I recieved the reel for a birthday about 8 years ago I’m guessing and it has been used frequently ever since. I still use it to this day as my primary Crappie setup on a lot of days.

As I said, I don’t have much experience with Mitchell but I am very happy with the one that I have owned for several years now. I’ll also add that it wasn’t an expenive reel. I’m guessing in the 30-40 dollar range.
