Night Bass Fishing
While fishing last night at a pond in Florida I caught a fish with a bass head and bodyof a bluegill .?
What was it? I caught it on a plastic worm.
It was a war- mouth bass most likely. The fist time I caught one I was curious as well. After i caught my first war-mouth bass I did some research and it showed that they are usually in Florida and are more common in ponds than other species of bass. They also have the coloration of a bluegill but have the mouth of a bass. My conclusion…… it was a war-mouth bass.
