Old Abu Garcia Fishing Reels
I cant decide weather to buy a shimano curado or a revo sx? Plz help?
Well im ready to buy another casting reel, rite now i have a daiwa exceler and its getting kinda old so im thinking of buying a new one. The two reels that cought my eye are the shimano curado and abu garcia revo sx, ive heared alot of realy good things about both so i want ur guyes opinions on which is better. Im only gonna be using it for bass fishing. Im mostly gonna be setting up with a texas rig. Thanks in advance
those are both excellent reels.
if you plan to use heavy braid and want a powerful winch with a strong drag, go with the revo.
if what you want is a great all-round reel to use 10, 12, 15lb lines, go with the curado. it casts great, has a sufficent drag, a good anti-backlash control.
l don’t personally have a revo but l hear only good things about them.
l do have 3 curados in my selection. l wouldn’t trade them for anything. simply great reels.
