Please help! Need opinions on Salt Water Equipment. Plz HELP?
I need to know what role you guys, what would be better for Tarpon Cobia and kingfish in the Gulf and Atlantic. Either a 3 / 0 Penn Senator Special, a Shimano Triton, or a Shimano Speedmaster. I have a lot of fishing experience and techniques. I, however, my weight, and use a clip with live bait. I can not do my 6 / 0 Penn Senator far enough, because his role in a shark and very strong, so I want to downsize. So tell me what you think. The 3 / 0 is a prominent part. I have four precisely machined with Tiburon frame and a topless. They are heavy compared to Shimano and the gear ratio is lower. By using reelX I think that casting is improved, you can also speedX to all of your roles as per the Shimano Speedmaster reel it is a pretty good level and no wind. I have a friend, the success is the Shimano Speedmaster with a large, apart from a broken handle it is not much else that went wrong. They do not want level wind period. I would not choose The Shimano Triton. But the rest are okay for all must also tarpon. Might look into Newell rolls without breaking the bank.
