Pflueger President spinning reel?

I'm thinking about getting a Pfueger President Spinning Reel. I would like for you to compare brands it with them. If you could compare it to a roll thats the same price range, the $ 60 is. How is it compared to Shimano? Abu Garcia? Mitchell? Quantum? And if you name a role that you think is better than a tiller President and comment on in the same price range feel free. Any contributions / comments the President would also be great. Thank you!

The Pflueger President is an excellent reel for fresh water applications. I own 2 of them, (Along with a Pflueger Supreme), and they have good place for bass fishing in general freshwater. There is no comparable role in its class (for money) other than the Shimano Sahara & Daiwa Excel, (and they do not even come close!). I've always used Shimano / Daiwa gear and a new president as fathers day Gift. Since then I have another and a colonel, ($ 99) purchased. The Supreme is a dream for fish! Anywho get, the President, if your fresh water fish, it is a "keeper". If you have a FANTASTIC coil (in the hundred-dollar class) get the colonel.
