Shimano Fishing Reel And Rod Combos
For all purpose plastic worm fishing, is a 7′ medium heavy action rod the way to go?
Bass Pro Shops has a nice combo at a great price for a Bionic Blade graphite rod with a shimano citica reel. I was just wondering if this would be a good way to go for carolina and texas riggin.

Load the Citica with 10 pound mono and you can use it for drop shotting and wacky wormin’ also.
I have a 7′6″ medium-heavy Bass Pro Shops XPS Extreme rod that I use for Texas rigging, drop shotting, split-shotting, and occasionally Carolina rigging… it’s awesome. Casts an Ika with a 1/8th ounce split shot a country mile.
