what is the differance between a spinning reel with a bale and one with a trigger?

whats the differance between a spinning reel with a bale that u flip over to cast, and one with a trigger? which is better? why? and how do you get to the reel with a trigger design to re-spool it like the one on the zebco 33 since everyone has been recommending that

I read this as a spinning reel and a spin casting reel question????
The spinning reel, the one with the bail you flip over, for me is much better for casting due to my being able to cast where I want to with it.

The spin casting reels, like the 33 and more, I just can not hit the right spot when casting them. My wife loves hers however. She is great with her crank bait work on open water and does not like it when I head for the lilly pads and such where my casting into small holes is important.
